NEW WESTERN MOTORHOME SHOW
Posted on Tuesday, June 07 @ 19:24:37 BST by nukeadmin
Motorhome NewsWANTED! SHOWGOERS FOR EXCITING NEW WESTERN MOTORHOME SHOW

Warners Exhibitions are pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new outdoor leisure event - The Western Motorhome Show is being launched this August over the weekend of the 12, 13 & 14 and will be held in the scenic setting of the Malvern Hills at the Three Counties Showground, Great Malvern, Worcestershire.

This brand new show will have a strong Western feel, giving prominence to the American & European motorhome markets but still display the best British models on offer from the UK’s leading

motorhome dealers. In addition we will provide the usual multitude of accessory and service stands for visitors to enjoy.

The event will provide visitors with all the usual elements they expect from a Warners event – a packed trade area, well organized rally fields, quality entertainment and good facilities.

For visitors looking to buy a new van the timing for this event is ideal as it coincides with new registrations out on the 1st September. For those of you looking to browse it falls perfectly during the summer break when many of you will be out and about holidaying in Britain in your ‘van and can include the show as part of your holiday plans.

This new show compliments the existing Warners calendar of events which already includes four highly successful events: The National Motorhome Show (P’boro), The Southern Motorcaravan Show (Newbury), The Midsummer Music & Leisure Show (Lincoln) and The Northern Motorcaravan Show (York).

CAMPING ON SITE Why not make the most of your visit to the show and enjoy a weekend break camping on-site? Good camping facilities are available. Your camping rate depends on your arrival day, pre-booked discounted rates are Thurs-Mon £30, Fri-Mon £28, Sat-Mon £24. Prices are based on up to two adults and up to three children in each unit (additional adults, 16yrs+, are £5 each). All vans must be off site by 12 noon on Monday. A selection of motorhome and caravan clubs will be holding their own rallies at the show, members should check with their club for details. If your club isn’t organizing an area this year why not encourage them to do so next year. Your camping fee not only includes unlimited access to the exhibition area throughout your stay but also the evening entertainment on site which is only open to campers. Pre-booking for the event closes on Friday 22 July 2005. Non-booked admission at the show will cost Thurs £32, Fri £30, Sat £26. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment programme for the weekend will be packed as usual with a range of quality bands and performers but will have a Country theme to tie in with the Western feel of the event.

All evening entertainment on-site is exclusive and FREE to campers, all entertainment takes place in the entertainment building apart from Saturday evenings show which will be staged in the main ring as a great open-air show.

Thursday Evening – Entertainment Building LEARN TO LINE DANCE! - Join our special line dancing class with ED LAWTON (ex World Champion Teacher of Line Dancing) Plus dance the night away with music from Plain Loco & Side Winder

Friday Evening – Entertainment Building Great music and more dancing with Front Line & Broadcaster

Great Open Air Show in the Main Ring - Saturday Evening TOP OF THE BILL - Susan McCann & her band – great entertainment from ‘Ireland’s First Lady’ Plus Sean Wilson & Tony Mack and Paul Martin & Red Rock County

It’s a great line-up which is sure to have everyone up dancing! Make the most of the Saturday evening show by bringing along a picnic, your favourite tipple and spending the evening relaxing with friends while enjoying this great open-air show. Don’t forget to bring your own chairs, rugs etc.

DAY VISITORS If you can’t manage to join us for the whole weekend you can still visit the show for the day, admission rates are adult £4 or child (5-16yrs) £1, this includes FREE parking and a FREE show guide. The exhibition opens daily at 9.30am closing at 5pm on Friday (traditionally buyer’s day), 5.30pm on Saturday and 4.30pm on Sunday.

VISIT GREAT MALVERN & THE MALVERN HILLS Visitors to the event can not only enjoy the fantastic on-site entertainment and shopping but can also take the chance to visit the Victorian spa town of Great Malvern and the scenic Malvern Hills. The Malvern Hills lie amongst a world renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Breathtakingly beautiful vistas of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire can be seen with the Shropshire hills and the Black Mountains of Wales in the distance. Great Malvern lies almost in the centre of the hills, and directly beneath the Worcestershire Beacon - the highest point of the Malvern Hills. At the centre of the town lies Great Malvern Priory, founded from a Benedictine Abbey in 1085. It remains one England's greatest parish churches with some of the finest medieval stained glass in the country together with tiles and carvings. One other relic of the Abbey is its gateway, which houses the local history museum. Campers will be able to take advantage of a special subsidised bus service to Great Malvern to explore the town and it’s history.

HOW TO BOOK See the adverts in leading motorcaravanning and caravanning titles or telephone 01778 391123 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) to register for quarterly issues of our free Showgoer magazine containing all Warners show booking forms. You can also visit us on-line @ www.westernmotorhomeshow.co.uk where you can order tickets, see a list of exhibitors and find full information on the show.
