 ACCIONA Trasmediterránea is opening a new regular passenger and cargo line between Spain and the United Kingdom:
On 16th May Acciona Trasmediterránea will begin the first regular passenger and cargo line between Spain and the United Kingdom, connecting the ports of Portsmouth and Bilbao .

• The superferry "Fortuny", which will operate the new line, is one of the most modern and comfortable ships in the company, with a capacity for 1,000 passengers and 330 vehicles, equipped with all the services required to make the crossing a mini-cruise.
• Likewise, the large capacity of the superferry’s hold guarantees a regular offer for transporting rolling stock between Portsmouth and Bilbao, in this way establishing a new Seafaring Motorway between UK and Spain.
• The superferry "Fortuny" is equipped with that latest technologies in environmental protection. An example of this is the advanced design of the propelling screws which reduces the energy consumed and consequently emission to the atmosphere.
• Acciona Trasmediterránea is the leading shipping company is Spain for passenger and cargo transport and it is one of the largest in Europe. It has an operational fleet of 26 ships which connect the main ports of the Spanish mainland with the Balearics, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. It also has international crossing to the North West of France, Algeria and Morocco.

(User Info | Send a Message) | just looked at booking for july one way and coming back on the tunnel touring through france. the price for 2 adults 2 children in 6.9m motorhome with inside cabin was £309 but with a car was £444.
think i'm going to book it,looks like a bargain to me does anybody know anything about the prices on board?? |
