AUTOCRUISE - new factory, new models and new show
Autocruise announce the opening of a new factory, plans for three new models and a new public show. We’re very excited and proud about these new developments,” said John Cockburn, Chairman of Autocruise. “It is just a few pieces of steel in the ground at the moment. The construction team are due to hand over the keys in early September. We are eagerly
waiting completion so we can get to work on all the new orders and models. It is going to be a good place to build of Autocruise and Pioneer motorhomes.”
The new, state of the art factory, being built on a 6-acre plot in South Yorkshire will allow Autocruise to expand manufacture and production of its popular brand name and Pioneer motorhomes, including the ‘Renoir, ‘Starblazer’ and unashamedly luxury ‘Wentworth’ model. “At present we produce around 800 vehicles a year,’ added John Cockburn. “In our modern new factory, we’ll be able increase production to meet growing demand. We will almost double production to 1600 units by 2010.
Autocruise also have three new models in the pipeline, which will be manufacture and finished to exacting standards at the new South Yorkshire site. The design and features of these motorhomes are being kept secret until a celebratory opening of the new factory in late September. The 3 new models, together with 15 existing Autocruise and Pioneer models will then have their to first public outing at the London Caravan & Outdoor Show, ExCeL, 27th – 30th October, the new show from Inside Communications, successful organisers of the National Boat, Caravan & Outdoor Show at the NEC.
“We’re very excited to be involved in this new London show,” said John Cockburn. “Its perfectly timed to coincide with the industries product launches and ExCeL is a bright and airy venue where we can display our new models their best.”

I can get nowhere with the fact that the rear axle weight allowance on my Starblazer is inadequate for the van and equipment as sold. They, and Marquis who supplied it, do not respond knowing my only alternative is court action. |
