The iPad new version is already available on iTunes (no changes apart from a rollup of all the recent additions to the campsite database)
iCampsites for iPhone v1.4 is complete and has been submitted to iTunes for approval. Apple appears to have got their act together as the iPad version was submitted Wednesday and Thursday it was available for sale
Changes in v1.4
1. Roll up of our online database new campsite entries. We have added >3,000 entries to our online database which now contains all the Caravan Club and ALL of the Camping & Caravanning Club campsites including CLs / CSs.
2. Progress Bar / Number of Updates to download count added to update downloads allowing informed decision for the user whether to download the updates depending upon their speed of connection / cost etc.
3. Ability to edit stored reviews prior to uploading within icampsites.
4. Batch facility for uploading to prevent timeouts and errors when doing large uploads of campsites on slow / unreliable connections.
5. New Search bar and redesigned UI to allow faster access to search facilities on every page within the app.
6. Ability to sort search results by Name (A-Z) or by campsite type.
7. New Show Nearest sites facility to quickly show the nearest campsites and zoom in on the nearest one.
8. Social Networking integration - Tweet / Share campsites on Twitter / Facebook
9. Tweaks / Minor bug fixes throughout
