I recently downloaded the app and have found the following two niggles - both of which might just be my misunderstanding of the product. I'm using a Touch with latest OS
1) The map location thinks I'm somewhere up near Newcastle upon Tyne when I'm actually in Essex. This is not a bother a first until you start looking for sites in my location. You drag the map over to where you want to look, click the button and the sites pop up. Look at the details of a site, return to the map...it puts you back in Newcastle. So you have to start the whole process again.
2) Stayed on a campsite recently having found it on the app. All went well and I was going to add my review of the site to the others which were on there. However, there doesn't seem to be a button at the bottom of the reviews to add your own review (like on the webiste). In fact I had to wait until I was back at a computer before I could find a way to add my review to the website.
3) Searching for sites via the map brings up all the different sites in whatever area you're looking at. If later you remember seeing a site in a particular town and do a search by town name, it doesn't always recognise the town - even though I (think) am putting it in exactly as it appears in the address details (when the site is found through the map instead).
It's probably my learning curve taking a bit of a wobble but a pointer in the right direction with any of these would be appreciated. Many thanks.

hmmm not sure where it gets the location from on a non gps device like yours, but I can verify the niggle about it going back to your home location once you view a campsite (pencilled in for resolution in the next update)

yup there isn't a facility to add a review to an existing site (again pencilled in for 1.5)
not quite sure on your third point, do you have an example town / site I could check ?

I was halfway through this reply when I had a thought. Turned the ipod on and did a name search with the "name" button pushed and then the "city/town" button.
I managed to get it to work as expected when I switched over between the two buttons.
However, I do have to say, because the button highlight colour is a pleasant shade when selected and de-selected I can often not detect which is selected in this application. It's difficult when there are just two buttons, when there are more than two you can spot the odd one out.
Anyway, many thanks for looking into the other two problems and mark the third problem down to numptyness
Nearest campsites, or search based on current location gives me campsites nearest to Central London. I first tried it when near Peterborough, and now in West Yorkshire.
Google maps knows where I am, but not within the app.
