Just a quick reminder..

If anyone is worrying they might have to pay for the app again when you reinstall, or download updates you do get a prompt to pay first, but then it recognises you have already paid and its reloaded/updated without charge.

It's the itunes update procedure than is a bit misleading, nothing to do with icampsites app.

Pete

You do have to go quite a way into the paying procedure before it tells you that you don't have to pay. So hang on in there!

Nuke,

On the icampsites application menu, there is an option "submit a review".
However, this appears to submit a new site, not a review, as I found out today, by creating a second entry for the Moreton-In-Marsh CC Site.
I have been PM'd by Gaspode, who has removed the double entry, but it still shows on my iphone application.
How do I remove this, or can you do it for me. Found it - "edit a review".
Can we have the menu changed to stop this happening, and don't call it a review, but a new site entry, please.

Is it possible to add a review to an existing site, via the iphone app?

Michael (TR5)

the next phase of the app development will allow you to login to the app using your mhf credentials and submit new entries (i.e. a completely new campsite) and each campsite will have a new button to add a review to an existing entry Smile

One backward move in the new version.
When you search by map location you see all the sites in the selected location - great.
Then if you click on a site and view details and then return to the map it returns you to your current location - annoying - but why doesn't it return you to your search location?
and now when you drag the map back to the original search location all the entries have been removed!! - on the previous version the previous search entries where still visible.

So two requests.
1. When searching by map location after viewing details and you select back, go back to the map location of the site not your current location.

2. After returning to the map keep all the previous surrounding site locations visible.

Another nice to have...
Ability to exclude sites from all results (like favourites in reverse) i.e exclude sites where dogs not allowed, units over X size not allowed etc.
