hi,
i have bought one of the tvs from richer sounds that is 12v step down.i dont want to cut the lead in case it goes wrong.
where can i get a lead from that will fit in the tv and have 12v 2 pin plug on the other end

Can you post a picture of the plug that goes into the tv and what type of 2pin plug do you require.

t v socket is about 5mm to 5.5mm diameter and hole in middle is about 2mm sorry dont know how to directly upload pictures

You can get the two pin plug from any good motorhome accesory shop and the power lead have a look at www.maplins.co.uk or www.cpc.co.uk or ebay as addie beat me to it.

yeah they look like one end,do i just cut other end off and fit 2 pin plug,but does it matter which wire goes where and if so how would i know which is which

The centre pin on the plug is normally the live feed but you will have to check on the tele to make sure the centre pin is the live and then the two pin plug has it labeled as to which one is the live/+.You will need a multimeter to figure which cable is connected to the centre pin so you can wire up the 2pin plug.
