Legislation is being enacted where the technology is not yet available to enable owners to make their vehicles compliant with the legislation !!! How ***** stupid is that ???? Its like saying all new vehicles used after 1st January must do 100mpg and if they dont we will fine you a big wedge of dosh
HELLOOO you people at TFL..... at the present time its NOT POSSIBLE for us to make our vehicles comply with your rules so why are you still insisting on implementing this law ????
Thanks a bunch Mr (red) Ken Livingstone, for it is he who started this all off.
You would think someone at TFL would have the savvy to say
"Hang on, why dont we make vehicles registered as a "motor caravan" exempt, just think how much revenue these low mileage vehicles bring into London"
But no, they dont seem to grasp that simple fact do they ????
And dont start me on about what the CC and C&CC have done about lobbying, two tenths of three fifths of **** all doesnt amount to very much does it??? perhaps thats because tuggers are not affected????
OK extended rant over, I will now take my medication and retreat back under my stone
I was talking to a mate who drives a Toyota pick up, Some of his clubs members have had the filters fitted, then had them stolen
If you are getting one fitted it may be worth trying to secure it as well
Stayed at Abbey Wood 2 weeks ago for the w/e.Went into London on the train, wife and daughter spent a fortune in the shops. We had a meal at restaurant nr Convent Garden.Went to see a show.Sunday went to Greenwich, spent even more money, had Sunday lunch in a pub.Won't be able to do it again from January. Will go elsewhere can't afford a new camper. Our 2001 Ford Transit Bucanner cost us £20k two years ago and we are happy with it.I have been told that MK 6 2.4dci are Euro 3 but a search on the LEZ site say's it not so that's it.Londons loss is Brighton or Cardiffs gain!!
À tous mes amis du forum thankyou pour toutes vos pensées agréables et avec son amour derrière moi je lutterai contre mon conflit avec un esprit de postive et le triomphe
I have not heard of any of the big clubs, CC and CCC shouting about this unfair ruling for what are quite modern vehicles being banned but that is not a surprise as neither are that concerned about motorhomes.
If it had been anything to do with boating then the RYA would have been shouting loudly and badgering MPs, a pity the CC clubs don't represent their members in the same way
