Any new battery would be expected to last an absolute minimum of 12 months in any bodies eyes so I don't see any way the seller can refuse a warranty replacement. If the whole battery is duff from complete discharge then it would be different but a single faulty cell would look more like premature failure to me. Strange tho that the problem has only happened since fitting a battery master.

If the manufacturer can weedle out of it I'd be surprised unless they can evidence that you flattened it? I would expect it to be covered. What is the dealer saying?
The base vehicle can be a lot older than the finished conversion tho. Best way to date the vehicle is by the tire date stamp. Our van's tires were a year older than it's registration date.

Tried to date the vehicle as suggested above i.e. tyre date stamp, but the DoT number is not visible at all on the four tyre walls facing outwards, so contacted Michelin because I had read DoT is not a requirement in the UK, only the US, they assured me via email that the DoT number is stamped on all tyres BUT only on one side !!!!! Now it would appear that unless you can get your vehicle up on a ramp or take the wheels off altogether, you cannot date the tyres if they were put on the vehicle with this info on the inside.

Suggested to Michelin, they might consider putting the DoT on both sides in future. No response as yet to this.
