This article http://tinyurl.com/7d8yx makes disturbing reading. Shocked

Last week I used the A1 down to junc 8 from the M18 and thought the condition of the road wasn't too bad. After reading this report I wonder how many more of our major roads are like this Question

Hi Jim

Would independence for Scotland turn you into an immigrant?

The answer is to avoid the congestion of the central belt and move north. Civilisation begins around Stonehaven and improves the further north you come. Not only that, you'll enjoy a better standard of living as well. A recent survey shoes that workers in oil-rich Aberdeen were the best-paid, earning an average of £464.10 a week, with Edinburgh not far behind on £447.40. Glasgow came in at £410.10, with Dundee on £400. The national average was £396.

Come north, young man (or woman)!

hi guys

we use the m8 quite regularly , ive never had any problems so far , if you avoid the peak times it's a breeze in to the cities . i find it much busier south of the border so i guess it's got more to do with what your used to . the A1 though is truly the road to hell Exclamation . we go as far south as we can on the m6 .
