Saw the unit below in France three weeks ago, It looks a lot more expensive than the Eze Tow.
Note the two hitches, two jockey wheels etc.

Here's a U tube video of it - single wheel version first, then the double wheel. Looks a decent job. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJgUZyXQh74

Similar here : http://wn.com/Remorque_bi-jockey_camping-car_cladel

and here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1X-NsNFDMdE

what seems to be an automated version: http://jetelle76.over-blog.com/article-remorque-bi-jockey-le-top-du-to p-61720068.html

and what appears to be the website: http://www.cladel.fr/ElementsRubrique.aspx?SITE=DELOUB1&RUB=2&MP_SS_RUB=ELEM&MP_ELT=DETAI&PAGE=1

Anyone translate the French?

We have recently returned from 7 weeks abroad towing a BMW RS 1100 on a folding trailer.
Only problem was, we got stuck in a supermarket one way system with height barriers. Had to do a U turn and unhitch the trailer.

Maintained our usual cruising speeds and apart from the occasional glance at the camera and careful parking just carried on as normal.

Was that the only time you would have had to reverse Steve? What make was the trailer?

Our Trailer is a Phoenix from Bridgnorth Shropshire.
I had to modify the towing hitch to align with the van but otherwise it is fine.

In simple terms reversing ( for me anyway ) is virtually impossible something to do with the coupling effect and wheel bases. I can get a jackknife in about 3ft with 10 deg on the steering wheel Smile.

I suppose with lots of practice I might be able to do it, but so far on the 2 occasions it has been quicker to unhitch.
