Use them like a mini oven.... Pizzas to Chickens... warming Croissants... chips to stews. There is nothing like them.
Usually they are demonstrated at every motorhome show but I do not see them at Shepton Mallet this year.

Hi

Just caught up with these posts and was wondering if you can cook pasta or rice in one half of the double skillet while chilli / bolognese sauce etc cooks in the other half - we don't do meat and veg dishes very often?

Thanks
Canda

We bought a double skillet just before going away to France for three weeks in Aug / Sept. I had wondered about pasta too so I gave it a try. It just about worked for the quantity I wanted to cook (for two of us) but I had to be careful not to let it boil over.

The advertising suggests that all you need in addition to the double skillet is a milk pan. This isn't exactly true, it all depends what you want to cook. When I put the double skillet in the motorhome I removed a frying pan a large saucepan and one of the tiers of a stainless steel steamer. This left us with a small saucepan and the intermediate sized steamer with 1 tier on top (useful as a colander). I'm now considering putting the large saucepan back in the motorhome. and I'd definitely do this if we were cooking for more than two.
