I think taking it back in bits might have raised a few eyebrows though, LOL.

We got the Cobb from them in case of any problems. Their no quibble policy is well worth a few extra quid.

I've fancied a tagine for ages. Have you tried it out yet? I thought if we got one it may end up with the toasted sarny machine and the (messy) George Forman at the back of the cupboard.

Lol it might have been worth it to see their faces.

The Tagine is great. We have used it only once so far for Spicy Meatballs which was great. If you use it on the gas hob you need a diffuser.
The only drawback as far as I can see is that you cannot immerse it in water. I, of course, forgot Rolling Eyes but it seems ok.

My Remoska came from the God that is Amazon.....called a Czech Cooker but it is a Remoska, and has a control knob on the handle which my friend's Remoska doesn't have. Cheaper too than Lakeland, supplied by a Canadian company I think. Fabulous invention, not needed to take it apart.

Yes, I have a small slow cooker too, £10 from the same site. And a steamer that stacks vertically so takes up little worktop space.

Yum Yum!

Maybe we should swap Remoska tips? Mine is doing sausage, bacon, beans and eggs all in the one pan, yet they come out beautifully cooked and with their own individual flavours intact. No fat splatting all over and washing up takes about 30secs!

My other favourite is my Wok - brilliant for pancakes with Maple Syrup or as savoury with tuna and tomato.

Hi.

Our Remoska packed up when we were on a campsite in Spain. I managed to take the lid apart and dry all the water out from the lid and handle.

It did take a bit of putting back together but has worked well for the past 4 years. There must only be £10 of bits in it but it does cook well.
