Hi all,

Please could people recommend a motorhome with 6 seat belts (3 points?) with a fixed bunk in the rear?
We are planning on travelling Europe for 8 momths.

Thanks!

Hi And welcome. We have an Adria coral sport - it's a 2007 model, with fixed rear bunks and has four belted seats in the back, two forward facing with three point belts and two rear facing with lap belts.

here is one the same with all the specs - note the impressive payload.

Chausson S3 is worth a look if you want a short overcab model, or if you want a A Class, have a look at the Itineo SB720, both will fit your requirements, the Itineo has a MASSIVE lounge.

We've a EuroStyle A69 from Lowdhams (also known by other dealers as a Sunlight A69). Double over cab, dinette converts to double and fixed bunks at the back. 6 seat belts , 4 forward facing 3 point and 2 rear facing lap belts.

Nice van ours is on a Transit but I think the new ones have a differant chasis.

Enjoy shopping and your trip

P

Burstner Nexxo Family A645. Ours is 2009. If you did want to travel with 6 people you would have to upgrade the weight limit. As standard it is 3500 kgs. You might want to look at some of the other Burstner Nexxo range which might suit you better with a tag axle. I do not know the seat belt configuration with these.

Les.

Think very hard about payload and being overweight - you need a very large payload to take six people and their gear - even if four of them are little people. If you are restricted to 3500kg on your driving licence I would wager a bet that there cannot be a van out there that can provide what you need legally within a 3500kg limit, even if they are selling it to you.

Very strange situation we have here - you will find loads of references on this site to this problem.

You really need something with well over 3500kg max weight to take six people and thgen you may not be able to drive it.

Sorry to be a pessimist but this is a problem that is probably quite large but conveniently hidden in sales brochures.

And don't even think about putting some useful and interesting toys on the van because they all add weight.

Regards

Brian
