Come on all you seasoned Mhers Give your favorite tip on here. as many as you like

newcomers read these and pick up some hints and tips for an easier mororhoming experience

My tip to start

Put your reg number on the post end of your hook up cable
Saves some nit wit taking the wrong plug out in a bollard full of cables - especially on the continent.

don't leave the water pump switched on when parked up - especially in the winter. In the event of your boiler dumping its water when temperatures are low, it won't empty the whole contents of the fresh water tank, or burn out the pump.

Still sat here in front of the computer - it may be in the office, or on the laptop if I manage to get away from the office.

If you take a laptop with you abroad to save on loads of print outs of your pre departure research on places to stay and places to visit print them out as PDF files and save each one in a separate country folder on the laptop. If you can't get online when away you can just open the PDF files saved before you left

if your pc can't create PDF files just google cute PDF writer and download it

When you ve parked up post midnight near market stalls just to read the map.....

lean forward and check nothings protruding infront of your overhead cab , or you might set off a chain reaction as you hit the stalls scafolding and demolish 9 stalls and be accused of attempting to kill someones son who was sleeping/guarding the produce....

This tip I would not recommend, and I don't think dealers recommend either:

Turn fridge to gas before driving off - surely gas should be turned off and disconnected when driving
