It was 2 years of splashed feet before I read on here to push in the yellow button at the back of the toilet cassette when emptying, such a difference.
Always make sure garage door is close properly before driving off, especially if you don't know what the alarm sounds like when you do. This one happened to us after we drove from dealers, not a clue what the sound was. Luckily the garage was empty and we didn't loose anything, if it happened now we could cover a mile stretch of the M25

when driving a long distance back home after a weekend or a longer holiday set your sat nav to take you back home.
even though you know the way.. if you get diverted due to road works or an accident the sat nav will automatically re ruote you so youwont have to suddenly find a map to figure out where to go

before you buy your first motorhome think, do you really want to spend all your leisure time cramped up in the back of a white van with iffy sanitation a smelly dog and a bad-hair-day wife.
Or, are you more suited to hotel life with spacious dining room, comfortable TV lounge and large swimming pool.

(Also, if you are going to consider an engine remap to aid fuel economy - have it done when you first buy the Van not a couple of weeks before you decide to sell it).
