Yep tried that (and made sure I was online) - thanks Mike
Hi Mike,
Any chance you could check if nothing is holding it back i.e. firewalls (make sure its allowed if you can).
Ben
Hi Ben,
I've checked the firewall settings and there was nothing obvious (to me) that was blocked and I added the USB Campsite to the list of exceptions but to no avail.
Simon
Aha! It works!!
I don't know why but today with no further changes he work!
Hi Simon
I still have the same problem as you had. Mine works on an XP machine and my neighbours windows 7 netbook but will not display the mapping on two laptops both vista machines.
When it finally worked for you was it still added to your firewall exceptions and had you restarted which caused it to work?

With practice, my USB is begining to give me answers that I seek.
As stated before, it would be good if there were a slightly more detailed Offline map, to locate potential stopping places on my route without making reference to paper maps. My detailed knowledge of French and Spanish villages, and where they are, would fit on a postage stamp (using big letters).
Nuke - just got back yesterday to find loads of post waiting and amongst it all was not one but two iCampsite usb sticks, thats nice of Nuke I thought,as I'd only ordered one ! Just started playing with them this morning - first one wasn't even recognised as being connected to laptop and the second one was shown as connected but nothing else, went into Computer and selected drive and it came up " disc needs formatting" so I assume I've got two duff sticks. Have also tried them both in other computer and same results, so I assume I've got to follow instructions for return.
