Pete
Thanks for the replies, pretty much what i thought to be honest.
I do mainly wilding but still wouldn't wan't anything too loud, think it would get on my t*t's after while.......let alone anyone nearby
I have the 1kw version
We use it for the house if we get power cuts which used to be an issue
OK bit of kit but not that quiet
I would not be happy if you were parked next to me
I got one almost the same. True its noisy and stinky but at times it has worked as required. Never connect this type to Van circuitry.
Now I have a Kipor not as good as the Honda but a lot cheaper and fires up the Bravoska, Microwave kettle and can be connected to the van HU.
Only used for short periods as and when required.
If connecting any generator to your house mains OBVIOUSLY the main supply should be isolated.
Some poor "B" may well be working on the power supply failure and you may shove 240V down the line.
As I understand it you need an input between your switched main supply and your Fuse Box.
