My habitation door has gone from clunking and locking sometimes, to silence and no central locking at all. One can only lock it with the key now. Cab door is fine on CL. If one does lock the hab. door with the key then the cab door unlocks! Any ideas?
hi I had the same problem twice on my 997m it could be either the fob battery has gone flat or the the wireless cable under the drivers seat could be folded up and just needs pulling out and extended as mine did or as a last resort take it to a rapido dealer who can reprogram the fob hope these suggestions help
As it's still working the cab door it could be the wires broken. The wire in the rubber sleeve usually brakes due to wear or being trapped in the door.
Had the same problem on a brand new van ,sometimes worked sometimes didnt
Trouble was locked us out a couple of times and we had to rely on our neighbours (slimmer versions) to climb under the bed from the garage and let us in. Albert just couldnt get his shoulders thro and I would never have got my aaheem thro.
Going back to the dealers

That's exactly what happened to my 9048, it was just a broken wire leadin from inside the door through the black conduit to the van body. removed door panel, replaced wire and now fine.

Same happened mine, same fix (replaced the broken wire) also in my wife's car (ford ka) the same thing happened to the wiring for the door speakers.

May be wrong but it dont sound like a broken wire to me.
You say the cab door unlocks when you manualy lock the hab door. This sounds like an iffy swich on the hab door lock.
