I am wondering what else might go wrong, first the fridge now the dome!

I am on the Isle of Mull with no obstructions...not a tree for miles....but can't log on to a satellite. As it happens the views are so good I wouldn't watch much, but I rather it was working!

Any ideas folks? Would a definite list to the right have an effect? I am on very uneven ground and the levelling blocks are not high enough to cope. It is the only thing I can think of.

Thanks
Julie

I've tried both Astra north and south, but nothing doing. The Maxview can select several, but at present it doesn't want any!

Hi
Yes it searches, buzzes and shrieks, finds nothing, then starts all over again.

Just noticed that you had fridge issues as well. I guess your 12v system is OK? Low voltages can cause all sorts of issues.

have you tried to see if there is a reset button on it, is it new or was it on van when you bought it

sorry just read rest of post, have you checked the 12v supply because the other posts are right if the leisure battery is low you will get all sorts not working properly.

have you got fluorescent strip lights and are they working OK. are you on hook up

I am not on hook up but it didn't work yesterday when I was. I put that down to trees, but thought it odd as they were small trees.

The battery seems OK, but I did have a second fitted before coming away. It charges the iPad and powers the TV without problems though.

I can't think what I am doing wrong, but it does seem to be searching OK.

We had a problem with our Maxview Dome a few weeks ago and when we rang up the installer he said that the transponder had changed, it should read 11662, it might be worth checking, if it is not on that let me know and I will give you the the instructions he gave me.

Hi Randonneur,

Thanks for this....could be the same problem perhaps. How do I check whether it is on 11662, please?
