Thanks Shane, Andy, so If my dome is set at 0, then this is most probably the cause of my problems and would equal a les than perfect signal, if I was to alter to between -8/-13 then I should get a better signal retain the service in the rain, yeh?

I won't say that it is most probably the cause of your problems because there may be something else wrong with your dome but I will say, for absolutely definite(!) that setting the LNB to the correct skew will certainly improve the situation, especially during periods of rain.

0 degrees is wrong and, the correct angle depends on where you are. In central England 13 degrees will do the trick. Let me know exactly where you are and I'll tell you exactly what the skew angle should be.

Thanks to everyone for their input, I have no confidence with this product and have agreed a refund with the supplier so it's gone, never to return.
