Did this last week while at home and left the TV + HD box on for 7hrs just running of a modified sine inverter with no problems, the connection is to 2 x 126A batteries + 130w solar.

Different firms make the HD box perhaps the switching of problem could be there, I bought a s/hand Sky one of ebay made by Pace as they had a good reputation on the satellite forums. I just bought the £25 card of Sky last year, how many years does this one of payment last !!

hi bob23. i don't think it is the box because this hd box is brand new and our old sky + box did the same i have just changed my inverter to a 1000watt so will see this next 6 week trip if it still doe's it again .jud Wink
