I try to avoid any kind of campsite but it's not always possible. They are a complete rip off. On one we looked at In the black forest they wanted £3.50 extra for the scooter on the back! I fell about laughing and drove off.

In switzerland on one site we paid £30 for a night! Way too much but we were stuck and they wanted extra for the showers!

Their website states [RULE 15] . .

"Trailer Tents, Folding Campers and Large Tents will be charged for an awning". Rolling Eyes

Thats another site I'll not be visiting !

Hi. MicknPat.
Have just had a look at the description of the "Thingy?" you wind out to relax under, having had and still got an A/Sleeper unit?,(Super!) i chose their web site.
Under "Fittings" it says, Recessed Awning. Now if someone can sue because they were given the wrong ladder,do you think i could perhaps make a few bob back from them,by threatening to go public?. LOL!!!
Having nothing to do again(its to hot,oh lucky me),i thought that if i had a camp site, could i charge extra for units with slide outs?,and if so,how much?.
Ted.
PS. We are in Portugal and i WAS!!,fencing the orchard until on grabbing hold of the spade, nearly fried my hand on the handle,SIESTA time. "Oh the sun has got his hat on..... "
Byeee.
