Is there any reason why these bike carrier/trailers that Dave provided the link to should not be used? On the face of it they look like they may be the best solution...
I don't know if the people advertising know what they're doing but if you look at the first picture, the unit is on a towbar but they've tied the handlebars to the towbar rack, so the handlebars can't turn but the front wheel should pivot.
