Hi all.
Want to take the scooter into Croatia on a trailer.
I know we can't get it insured to drive it there due to EU status, but does anybody know the position regarding towing?
Do we need it to be insured if we keep it on the trailer?

Any advice or suggestions gratefully acepted!

Hi Maytyj
As far as I know you will need to keep your scooter insured as the insurance on you van will not cover your scooter on a trailer. However it might be best to check with your insurance company, you don't wont someone smacking into your trailer and then find that you haven't any cover.
I think I read somewhere that even when a scooter is carried on the back of a MH it's still not covered but I'm not sure about that.

We'll just have to get whatever cover is available and pray a lot!!!
