Talkmobile have nothing to do with O2. They're owned by Carphone Warehouse (NB to confuse things, CPW split in two, so Carphone are now a different company to TalkTalk). They use Vodafone's network. However, that doesn't make them part of Voda either...they just use Voda's radio network.

Chances are you were thinking of Tesco: their mobile proposition uses O2 network (but NB that doesn't make Tesco part of O2....) Rolling Eyes

I guess I had to be wrong about something, although only a minor point in the context of this thread Wink

As previously stated the vodafone deal isn't bad. 75p for up to 60min of your contract min plus the option of vodafone data traveller so you can have Internet abroad for £10 a month extra is a move in the right direction and hard to beat right now
