I purchased a mint condition second hand outdoor revolution porch awning and it fits straight into the omnistor wind out awning channel. Im not sure wehter thats good or bad
Will be using it later this week so see how things go.
Ours has stood up to every sort of wind and rain going.
We are very impressed with it and we also use the figure of eight.
We do use an extending pole when the rain is heavy just to make sure the rain runs straight off and doesnt pool as the weight is heavy.
À tous mes amis du forum thankyou pour toutes vos pensées agréables et avec son amour derrière moi je lutterai contre mon conflit avec un esprit de postive et le triomphe

Do you use the figure of eights because the awning does not directly fit into the channel? Or does it make putting it up easier?

We used a figure of eight to convert it to fit.
We need 6mil converted to 8mil as the fiamma is 6mil the awning is 8mil.

We use the figure of eight so that we can leave the awning up and drive away if we need to. You just slide the plastic figure of eight out and voila you are detached then when you come back just wind out the the awning a little slide the plastic figure of eight back in to both sides and wind the awning in so it makes the awning taut and you are attached once more.
As it happens i hjave just bought one this week for our Swift Sundance 590 RS. The critical measurement is the height. ours is 250mm so bought Pyramid porch awning to fit m/h 230/250. It is the 260 model with 2 compartments not 3. Had to buy a conversion kit to fit our Fiamma Awning [MHF Link] that converts 6mm to 4mm. Going to try it next week when we go to Crystal Palace site for a week. Will let you know how we get on. Look at ebay a company called Outdoor Trail. Very obliging no postage fees, converter rail was £20.
