Hi wife's phone was on the blink so I've bought her a smart phone. All you users out there what apps have you found useful for motorhoming? I'll be looking at the icampsites one. Does it work for everyone? The USB one didn't for me and a couple of others at least.

How about the Alan Rogers campsite guide? Plenty of local and overseas sites reviewed. As usual with Alan Rogers it is well researched and the app works a treat. The Brucie Bonus is that it's free :0).
I really looked forward to having and using all my apps on holiday in France. I had maps, information, and translation apps. I had a tracker so that I could record where I went on my holiday. All great stuff, and the ability to pick up my emails any time any where.
Only one problem >>
Data roaming abroad isnt included in my plan and the cost of leaving it on would land me a bill of several hundred pounds. So it would have to be switched off.
All my apps, my email even weather apps >> useless!!!
I even found the number of wifi spots seem to be fewer than in previous years (Mac D excepted)
Next time I need to register with a french public system but I didnt know how.
Just bought a SIM only plan from Vodafone for my iPhone after suffering rubbish signals from O2. For £26 a month, you get all of the following.
The 25MB a day European roaming data allowance appealed to us as we are off the France next Saturday.
SIM only - more minutes, more browsing - your perfect smartphone plan
Enjoy the benefits of our award-winning network on your iPhone or smartphone. This £26 a month SIM only price plan includes 900 UK minutes, 3000 standard UK texts, and 500MB of mobile internet use. And with a further 750MB of free data access at over 3,000 UK BT Openzone hotspots, you can stay fully in touch, send emails and browse the web - no matter where you are. With Vodafone Data Traveller included, you'll get 25MB of data a day in selected European countries too.
