I rarely use my awning But on the rare occasion that I did we were assaulted by the largest Hailstones I have ever seen. and the Fiamma Awning [MHF Link] colaspted under the weight. I have done my best to straighten it out. but It will not stow away correctly. anyone know of a agent that does repairs in the Swindon area?

HI,

Had a bit of a problem with our Fiamma earlier this year and thought we would have to take it somewhere for repair.

I decided to look on the Fiamma website and found some instructions for adjustments which can be made quite easily, and these fixed our problems.

Hope they work for you as well.

Steve

Pete, I may be putting 2+2 together to get 5, but was it you on Klusserath Stellplatz a couple of weeks ago who'd had both this misfortune and been relieved of their wallet?

If so, hope you got back ok.

Looking at some of the damage caused by hailstones in the Bernkastel area, a damaged Fiamma is getting off light...on a new build development I saw, there were roofing tiles, solar panels and velux windows shattered, and the recently finished wall render on one house was pock marked. Saw one car that looked a definite write off. Must have been well scarey.

Paul

Hi Paul Yes that was us, and I did not get my wallet back. And the damage to my awning did not help to make me feel any better. But the sun was out most days and that helped.
Yes there was a lot of damage done by the hailstones And we only got off light because our camper was a fibreglass composite construction. the campers both side of us looked as if someone had taken a hammer to them.
