The Fiamma expert at my local supplier, (Spinney in Holmes Chapel), told me that the gap in the middle is to be expected with long awnings.

Until someone on MHF comes up with a solution. I'll just continue to climb up my step ladders and push it in the middle from time to time.

Hi all......likewise, have accepted the gap in the middle having thoroughly checked that it latches correctly at each end. As a sort of solution to prevent water ingress I have fitted a small check strap into the awning rail which slides along to the mid point where the gap is maximum and secure to the van body utilising an existing screw that holds the awning bracket, added security plus some weather proofing......Crindle
