Hi All,

A few photos for you to see what great fun it was at Goodwood this weekend.

I love this because I used to own registration 6 NBP one digit off the car on the left!

Eat my spray!

This shows just how wet it was on Sunday!

So many to go through, but thought you might like these.

Regards

Chris

Chris that is some very fine photography, the clarity and depth of field is truly special. Nice one. If I didn't know better the SF's look like RC models.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks Bill and Mavis,

Bill, the Spitfires were so immaculate that they did indeed look like models. We had 12 in the air on Sunday and i understand some of them are new.

Mavis, this is only a taster. As mentioned I don't really have time to go through them at the moment. Once done I will sort out a flickr album.

Best regards

Chris

Chris, Great photos!

I'm just starting to look for a new camera - what did you take the photos on - must be a DSLR, but what model and lens?

I was there for Friday and Saturday - what an event! The bit outside the circuit was great - I overheard someone telling his friend that it was the best classic car show he would ever see - and that was the car park!

I have a classic, not there this year, but the number and quality of the cars was staggering. I got bored with the many E-Type Jags, Aston Martin DB3/4/5/6s and went for the more unusual Maseratis and other rarities.

I think they should stretch it to a week, but reduce the daily ticket price a bit. I managed two days because the local paper was giving free Friday tickets if you bought a Sat/Sun ticket.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the comment.

You don't want to go my route unless you have a large wedge burning a hole in your pocket!

I invested in the Nikon D3S and D3X, two incredible cameras. These photos have been taken with the Nikon 200 - 400 VR lens.

You could certainly spend the whole day looking around the internal car park then another two looking round the spectator car park!

Best regards

Chris
