Hi Pete,

It doen't really matter full or empty as long as it is disinfected occasionally see my regime here. In between trips (2/4 weeks) I tend to leave mine full (except winter) as the less air in the tank the less chance of bacteriological growth. Empty and flush/disinfect before next trip.
