Just uprated from Renault traffic to a Talbot autotrail chinook, private sale, got excited with the haggling and didn't check it properly, took him at his word. Week later, have a van with water feature, no indicators, rot in shower area, consealed with shower curtain, lost a roof vent on way home, over heating- air lock and fan not working, nackered leisure battery, wife wants to go away at weekend....... Ha !
Very good forum by the way, lots of info

I do that, if all else fails get out the alcohol. Good luck with putting it right. Are you still covered by any laws. Look into it.

Just think how boring it would be if everything was perfect - all you could do would be sit and look at it.

One thing's for sure, by the time you get it all ship shape, you'll know every inch of it. Smile

I never like to hear of people being tricked like this.

If it makes you feel any better my first van leaked, shell crumbled in parts, bed collapsed, had damp, mould, lights leaked ........ and ours was new.

Hope you manage to get things sorted and get away for the weekend.

Cheers,

Keith.
