My thanks to everyone who has replied on this. I bought the Honda Innova. Cheap to buy, has been around for decades in various phases of development, light at 100kgs, easy for me to load on the scooter rack single handed, surprisingly nippy through the gears, hugely economical, decent service intervals and once its out of warranty - a doddle to service myself. In a nutshell it does the job solo or two up and without fuss. I'm very happy with the decision.

I have a Honda SH300 which is brilliant.

Having recently been given the opportunity to ride one my next bike will be the 125 Innova.

Simplicity is best.

I would be interested to hear how the innova performs two up up steep hills and I it's comfortable for journies of 30 miles or more. It's certainly a contender for our next bike as I like the idea of Honda reliability and easy fixing if it breaks which it won't.
