I use AVG free. Where do you look?

I do find my laptop is useless during a scan but that's maybe because it's an ancient Dell with a steam driven processor. Investing in a new laptop soon. Going for Acer 5742 with 6GB RAM and 750GB hard drive. Anybody any views on Acer?

Acer were and might still be the largest PC manufacturers in the world.
They made and probably still do make PCs for other well known companies. Good products and usually good value.
