I too switched to MHF, having received a very competitive quote.

But let's see if MHF/Aviva copy the rest - tempt you in now and then thump you hard when renewal comes around.

No one minds a small inflation-based increase year by year, but fleecing customers at renewal time is seemingly the business model favoured by insurance companies.

Slovenia is a full EU member and was the first 'second wave' EU country to pass the entrance criteria - its currency is the Euro and will almost certainly be covered.

I am not aware of a UK motorhome insurance company who will provide fully comprehensive insurance for Bosnia, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia etc. You will have to rely on third party border insurance. If you find one who will please post it!

If you are heading to Greece I would highly recommend a route through Romania / Bulgaria - both most likely will be covered - but do check.

Well am truly shocked with Safeguard this year including euro recovery was £450 with MHF was £320 wow weee my flabber is ghasted!
