I am located in the Lincolnshire area and changed from Vodafone to "3". Also get your self a good quality 3 metre USB lead so you can hang outside the Van or on the roof in poor reception area`s.
I went for a Business Premium tariff of £15 pm but I believe they start at under £8.
I had .....had a vodafone dongle and took it with me only last week, and the £15 I put on it lasted about 10 minutes, previously the £30 initial startup fee lasted about 3 e mails check visits, when I could log on that is.
It would appear if anything at all runs in the background, it eats the money
its in the bin where it belongs..if you can live without it, then do
I have a Vodafone dongle which worked OK & lasted for ages until I forgot to use it. Tried it a fortnight ago & nothing. Vodafone shop say it has expired due to non-use & cannot be renewed. Has to be used at least once every six months apparently.
Does anyone know where you can obtain a replacement SIM card to revive it? If not does anyone do a non-expiring dongle now?

Try a. 3 dongle 3g lasts for the month no problem £15, they are by far the best for uk.
Another vote for 3.
been using one exclusively for internet access for almost 2 years, no longer have a landline, and their £10 1gb a month topup lasts me over 3 weeks, sitting on the beach near Tywyn using it now.
