I keep them on the line, tell them my PC has frozen and I'm going to reboot - keeps them waiting, ask all sorts of questions, do things wrong - 'Oh sorry, I've done that wrong - hold on a minute' - longest is about 14 mins.
I have some great fun with them. I get the calls quite often and string them along for ages. Last week I pretended to do what they asked and but with a lot of 'no I can't see that' etc or holding the phone away at arms length and saying I can't hear them great to hear an Asian voice shouting! Eventually I told her (it was a woman) that I worked in IT and knew what she was up to, talk about light the blue touch paper. She went apoplectic shouting and cursing about wasting her time I just held the phone away and laughed my head off until there was a click and the phone was dead. I think it lasted about 20 minutes. These people take control of your PC through the AMMYY site then when they have control want paying with a credit card or they leave you in a mess.

These people are a complete nuisance, they always seem to phone when you are doing something. Yes they know your name but just tell them to go away, or I do not have a computer, this is my wife's reply or ask them for a password.
