747. I didn't think the zx spectrum had wifi!

If it does you don't need to turn it off in windows 7. Just plug in yer pocket rocket, the laptop should ping as it recognizes it. After a few seconds double click the small wifi symbol at the bottom right of the screen by the clock. If there is an available wifi it will have a small orange sun like circle glowing in it.

This will bring up the list of wifi zones it had found. They will be in two sections under the list. Those that your standard inbuilt laptop wifi has found and hopefully a longer and stronger list that the rocket has found.

When you find one that has a yellow exclamation mark on it it's unsecured so double click it, wait till the wifi icon (bottom right) connects and turns to a signal bar then open Internet explorer and add to your growing porn collection!

If the rocket is directional it has to be pointed roughly in the direction of where the wifi is coming from so you might have to move it about a bit to get the best signal. There is a refresh button at the top of the wifi list window which you can press but dowloading ssinsider as mentioned quickens the refresh rate and cab help detect where the signal is coming from and where it is strongest if you can figure out how to read it.

Thankyou young man for your concise yet unintelligible reply.

My Rocket is omnidirectional, which I presume means you need to point it at an Omni. Is there an app for that?

BTW, my new netbook has 250 gig of memory (or 500 porn movies). No doubt you will be nice to me now, knowing that. Rolling Eyes Laughing
