Well I constantly get asked how this site came about, why it is called Motorhomefacts, who is behind the scenes and who nukeadmin is lol so I have dredged my memories and came up with a page that goes into some details about what caused MHF to be here and its growth through the years, hope you like it

Thanks. That was interesting and informative. Perhaps something could be added about how the recruitment and role of moderators developed.

Also, how and when did rallying start?

Remember the crash....don't I just, an IM from DABS asking if I could get the site, could I get hold of Dave to tell him it was down. Getting hold of Dave to explain, and if I recall he was on his way to Germany to have a service done on the Euramobil and he had to stop quickly to solve it all.....a difficult time and we all so missed it then, but my how it has grown..... and grown....

Brilliant idea, just wish those layouts had gone in on the database

I bet you do, those on the list at the time do as well, and then it was fantastic to see how the donations rolled in to help with getting the information off those disks, a real community spirit and how we were all glad to see it come back - but I expect there was a lot of burning of the midnight oil - as it is always harder when you are away.... thanks Dave, for pausing your trip to do it

Thanks David, that was most interesting. I am a relative newcomer and often wonder how it all began!

Regards
