There used to be a little man who demonstrated Mer at all of the Motorhome shows. He had a Mini bonnet and not only did it survive being set fire to every few minutes, it gleamed better than a new showroom model. I always used Mer, it was wonderful. Then I read a couple of auto polish test reports and Mer came at the bottom.
Autoglyn now shines on all my vehicles and I have not seen the little man for a couple of years, I guess Mer have gone off the boil.
The word 'fickle' comes to mind...

______________________________________________________________ When confronted by a problem, you can solve it easily by reducing it to the question, "How would the Lone Ranger have handled this?"
I treat the 'cab' part the same as I do my car but for the roof, sides and rear I use products specifically designed for glassfibre.
As has already been suggested, your local chandler should be able to help, although I now use Meguiar as they do suitable products for both. Their three part boat/RV kit is excellent for dealing with the roof when it becomes dull and chalky, restoring the finish better than new. Look under their marine section for suitable products such as these:
I have no connection other than as a very satisfied customer.
