My 6year old oyster 85 will not lock on to astra 2. I know that there have been some changes to the satellite system but I did not think it affected the 85. The dish turns round and appears to find a signal and during the fine adjustment goes haywire. Any suggestions please Shocked

Thanks for your info but I think mine is an earlier model - the one with the white box - it was upgraded a few years back by Transleisure but not recently - it seem to find a signal and then goes jerky!

I had the same problem and found that because my setup was over 3 years old, the software needed updating. Robert Jackson does this at a cost of £35

Give him a ring on 0800 107 1112 and he will advise accordingly.

His website is:

http://www.jacksonsuk.com/

He did mine and it works great now.

there is no problem to do it your self by downloading the updates from the ten hafft site or indeed just remove the receiver and send it to your local dealer they only will need your receiver to update the receiver if that is all which is necessary, if you are not sure if there are other issues I would take the van to a dealer....

Thanks again Clive. I am not sure if the fault is programming or mechanical or which dealership to go to!

I can do that for you, but your best bet would be goto

http://www.conrad-anderson.co.uk/conradanderson/market-motorhome.htm

I would send the receiver off to be upgraded and then if it dose not work then take your van to someone who can help you... just my view

Can anyone tell me if the changes affect the Camos Dome system with a Sky box? Or can I swap the Sky box over for one of the other two I have in the house that I think have been updated?
