Thanks. We went for the Meos because it used very little power and at the time tv/dvds that worked on 12v were few and far between. Unless, of course, you wanted an Avtex which seemed a bit pricey for what we wanted i.e. just to play dvd's in the van.
hi
just a question, why are avtex and other tv,s with the 12v sign so expensive. just cant seem to justify laying out 3 to 4 hundred £ on a tv that we only use in the van occasionally,. the one we have in our lounge at home as all the bells n whistles, and cost less than a mid range avtex .
i know someone will correct me and say the technical specs, etc,are far superior in a 12v tv ??.
but i sill say that anything with, motorhome, caravan, leisure,in front of it, zoom the price goes up.
its a pity that the big boys, like samsung, hitachi, sony, etc are not in the 12 volt market, nothing like a bit of competition.
