Prices are coming down but I am not certain they are all suitable for vehicle use.
So I have had my Kyocera 130W panel for 3 years now (on two different motorhomes) it cost £503 and is 1.4m x .65m and weighs 12Kg
For sure I would be looking for a cheaper alternative if I was buying now but note that the power density (Watts per square meter) is lower on some that are being quoted and that is important for smaller vans.
Early adopters always pay more but I'm still happy with my purchase.
Edit and having just checked kyocera prices they haven't dropped.

Around this time 2 years ago I posted about doing a 80w DIY panel for £230... Which was real good at the time. An ebay purchase. Since then the panel has been connected all the time and more than covered it's cost in saved EHU fees (especially on continent) and convenience at rallies. I have never had to plug the van into EHU when at home, sitting on the drive with the solar panel on has kept the leisure battery charged.
Last week I bought another panel ready for my new van. Same UK ebay supplier and now the 80w panel was £115 delivered.. Even with all the other bits needed I recon it's now got to be sub £150..
At these sort of prices it has to be the best investment you could make on your motorhome..
There is enough information posted on MHF to help any would be DIY fitter to complete an install..
Good luck to anyone who is thinking of giving it a go...

Yes we are the same, paid top prices and swapped over to present MH, chose BP panels after reading a report in a MH mag saying they gave the best results.
Can't believe how much they have come down in price.

Hi,
I have notice the price has risen from £89.5 to £92.5 this morning, I emailed this company last year why the 90w and 80w are exactly the same size (1205 x 545 x 35) and another german supplier 80w panels were 1050 x 540 x 35 >14.1%, no reply.
I have read that some solar suppliers are claiming 16 or 18% effeciency when they are 10.8 or 13% efficient, apparently 1% means 10% less power?
