Sometimes, just sometimes I wish people would give their posts a title that gives a clue as to what the thread is about. It does help when searching.

Perhaps a gentle hint from a mod when a post is made that has an uninformative title ?

Once I figured out what the magnifying glass was for it became easy searching for terms but that is not my point.

A thread often asks a question. Then there may be 50 pages of replies in the thread but only a very few answer the original question. Many of those answers may actually be misleading. There may be a couple of replies that hit the nail on the head.

When searching that thread historically you cannot find a search to produce only the relevant and good answers. Not unless you already know the answer you are searching for.

Of course who judges the good from the misleading. I guess only the original creator of the thread when he got a useful answer but perhaps a "has this answered the question" button that is simply counted up as people agree it has.

I don't bother wasting my time opening them anymore.

Sometimes I come on MHF and go to answer a post like

Title "it really gets on my nerves"

Post :"When there is a long que in M&S, anyone else have the same problem?."
