Hi,

Had mine done last week.

I wasn't given any instructions or a new tool. Sad

I tried the hex bar that was used with the old winding mechanism and it seemed to locate in the spindle ok.

Yep, Steve, while the MH was still up on the lift, our mechanic ran through the dropping procedure and said to use the tool from the toolkit.
I must try it sometime soon, but somehow I can see me calling the RAC if I lose a rear o/s tyre.

I had mine done yesterday but not part of the recall as fitted originally be me.
I will be asking Fiat to pay for it but to be honest I had it done as it was only £106 fitted which is way cheaper than I bought it for originally and I had to fit it myself and it seems that they are held in stock as I didin't book it in to have it done.
