We have just bought and tried one of >> these <<

We bought it because our filler is in the locker close to a corner - a bit tight but I don't want to move it. The adapter arrived yesterday and we have just been out to fill up with it. The refill went without hitch and the adapter was easy to use. It looks well engineered and didn't let any gas escape. It certainly gave me the extra space that I was hoping for.

Zebedee suggested this be posted as a top tip.

Picked up from 'Slow Gas filling' thread.
Someone indicated a bayonet fitting extension, to overcome a multitude of filling problems.
I bought one and it works a treat for just under £10.
The fact he has sold 88 indicates it is a solution to a problem.

Hi,

We had a problem connecting the LPG gun at a local Morrisons recently due to it being larger diameter than usual so bought the bayonet extension fitting from the same ebay seller this afternoon and they dispatched it within an hour Smile

I have just had a look at other adapters from this source and they are mostly £10 cheaper than the regular price. Whats more he makes them himself.

Good thing I phoned the supplier the other day and told him to look out for a rash of orders.

Also fortunate his adapter is good quality, or I would be feeling guilty about suggesting him, even though they are half the price of the competition.

Glad you are all getting sorted. Shocked

Thanks,

Just ordered one.

For some reason I always have a problem filling up in the UK, mainly getting it to lock on but especially when trying to remove the filler.

My outlet is in the side skirt of the motorhome next to the gas locker. I never have a problem filling up in France or Germany.

It is the turning a 1/4 turn to lock that is somehow an issue sometimes.

But everytime I come to remove it I do the 1/4 turn the other way and then find I struggle to remove the filler!!

Hopefully with this extension it will make life easier in the UK.
