i.e. lower the fueling on boost or adjust the boost compensator to delay on boost fueling higher up the range or lower early fueling and increase on a more linear scale with revs.
If it was remapped I'd get a good quality map.

I don't drive it that hard, it's just that having that amount of torque does sometimes cause the clutchplate grip to go when encountering a hill or accelerating smartly in a higher gear.
I have attached the power and Torque curves in JPG format...dunno how successful I'll be in uploading though....lost the post when I tried a moment ago...
It seems that just being lighter of foot or if it gets worse, fitting a standard friction plate and 25% -40% stronger pressure plate is the way to go.
Hi, just a couple of points dragged from the back of my mind. I am also assuming it is not the 3.0 litre engine.
I read that it is possible to get a heavier duty clutch plate suitable for a 2.8 jtd. I am certain that it is not from Fiat direct though.
Another thing that sticks in my mind was that you should never slip the clutch on a Fiat Ducato. It is something to do with the design. The clutch plate will take it but something else will not.
Sorry that I cannot give more detail but I did not have a Fiat when I read this info. Why not go on the Fiat forum (www.fiatforum.co.uk, I think, could be .com). Ask the questions on there.

Hi Mr Bricolage, I can E-mail you the graph if it would help, but I don't know why you can't view it....maybe you just need to zoom out in your bitmap viewer or editor? Anyway, I had the work done by TB Turbos, who no longer exist but the guy that did it is Mark of C&M Autos, an MHF member. As far as I know, he modified the fuel pump cam(s) delivery profile and adjusted the Turbo linkage, he may have done other things but I think that was it. Certainly the driveability was transformed and acceleration from low speeds was much improved. I also had new injectors fitted as they weren't spraying properly and that made a huge difference also.
