You'll not have to book at Glenmore during the Winter I would think. It is a big site and very rarely even gets full even during the summer. It is a nice site with good facilities and in a lovely location just beside the loch. If the weather is nice i.e dry and not too windy consider taking bikes as well, marvellous area for cycling. The site is not too far from the ski centre, in fact there is a great walk that takes you up (although by that I dont mean it is just a short stroll).

Hi there thanks for that yes we carry 2 fold up bikes with us at all times but have been told that there is a ski bus collects and retuns from outside the campsite which is really handy.
This will be the first time doing something in the winter months for us so I hope we have covered all bases although Rapido France do tell me that all their models are winterised as standard. I will though take as many precautions as I can.
Thanks again for your valuable info

I have always had issues trying to book into Glenmoor in Winter. They have said they won't take bookings until the snow clears or they can't book anything as there is so much snow.

But High Range have always said, if you can get here, we can get you on.

There is also a lovely site in Coylumbridge. I have tent camped there in January on several occasions. Lovely heated shower block was new last time I was there and there were only two campers.
There are hard standings for MH and pitches amongst the trees for small tents.
