Dissapointed that the survey puts Sprinter and Crafter together. They are not the same in some important areas. For example the Sprinters have chain driven cam shafts. The Crafters have belts.
Other details like limited slip diffs ets.

I voted for the double decker bus.

In the very unlikely event that I would try to build something myself it would have to be to get more room than what I get with the ready mades. And so I might as well go for a bus. And having the extra upstairs would really give me the space.

And I would not have to think about weight limits so much - so most of the build would be using wood and other materials readily available for amateurs.

I agree, the only problem with the big buses is the mechanicals not being very common, so breakdowns would be horrendously expensive.

Hi we chose a Iveco mellor bus and have had three years in it now been very reliable apart from a cambelt failure that i blame the garage for not fitting correctly not the iveco we have been to france, spain ,portugal and have booked for morocco too this year .
feel fre to ask any questions on fitting one out
